"I think Amy should move back with me." Janice said, she was Amy's biological mom, when her visit came to an end and she started for the front door. "As her biological mother, I cannot keep you away from you're daughter, but think about the effect it will have on Amy, Amy has gotten used to the level of living here, she has friends, to uproot her now, and move her to a place with a lower standard of living would do her more harm than good."

Timidly Amy walked into the living room, where her birth mother was waiting for her.
"Well aren't you going to come over and give me a hug?" Her mother asked, when Amy just stood frozen in her place.
Amy looked from her mom, to her adoptive mom, and then looked down at her feet. "Amy, go ahead and give your mother a hug, it would mean a lot to her." Mrs. Kindell urged her.
Relectunly Amy walked over to where her mom was sitting and gave her a hug.

"Are you nervous about seeing your mom for the first time?" Mrs. Kindell asked Amy, as Amy got ready to meet her birth mother for the first time.
"A little, I know she's my mother, but to me she's a stranger." Amy replied.

"I feel so nervous, what if Amy decides to go back with her mother." Mrs. Kindell asked, Mr. Kindell, as they nervously waited for Amy's birth mother, to come visit.

Amy's adoptive father and mother, discuss about Amy wanting to meet her birth mother.

"Are you going to call her mother and tell her that her daughter wants to
meet her?" Mrs, Kindell asked, "Of course, I promised Amy that I would call her mother." Mr. Kindell replied. "But what if Amy asks to be with her mother?" Mrs. Kindell asked worried. "That's her right, we may not like it but it's her right to live with her mother." Mr. Kindell replied.

Amy tells her friend Ashelly

"Ashelly, there's something you need to know about me." Amy started when her best friend came to the front door, a while later. "What is it?" Ashelly asked, "I'm adopted, my parents aren't my real parents." Amy replied, "So?" Ashelly asked, "You're not shocked, you're not going to stop being my friend?" Amy asked, she'd been afraid that if her friend knew that she was adopted she'd stopped being her friend. "No, I'm not going to stop being your friend just because you were adopted." Ashelly replied. "That's good, because I was worried that you'd stop being my friend." Amy replied.

"she wanted you to have a better life."

"Why did my real mom, give me up?" Amy asked after she'd gotten over the intial shock of finding out that she'd been adopted. "Because she loved you, she wanted you to grow up in a good home, with a good family." Mr. Kindley replied. "What was wrong with my family what was wrong with her?"
Amy asked, "You see, when you're father walked away, you're mother, didn't think that she could support you and give you the life that she thought that you deserved, so she asked us to be your parents." Mrs. Kindley explained. "Oh." Amy said, "So you see, you're mom doesn't hate you, she just wanted you to have a better life." Mrs. Kindely pointed out. "What about my aunts or uncles?" Amy asked, "You don't have any aunts or uncles."
Mr. Kindely replied.
